Since an ex-colleague of mine introduced me to Will Ferrell and his movies, I've been very thankful for that. Will Ferrell manages to bring a type of humor on the big screen which makes me giggle all movie long and give me ache in my stomach. But with this “Land of the lost” Will has lost it. In other words, he slipped hard. When the interviews at the start and the end of the movie are the funniest parts, you know that something is wrong. In between it went into the insane, illogical and unfunny. The characters are nowhere interesting and the story too unbelievable to take seriously. I just hope that Will's next movie brings some tears back to my eyes!

A couple of nights ago I saw Rob Zombie's second experiment with “Halloween”. It was a nice horror with some explicit gruesome scenes. But the addition of dreams, white horses and a lady in white (a part played once again by Rob's wife) took away a lot of the speed from the movie. Michael Myers is a killing-machine and shouldn't been busy with paranormal stuff. Maybe Rob wanted us to know what plays out in the killers' head, but I couldn't care much about it. I just wanted to see Michael do his thing, and that is what I got to some extent...
