My son had already seen "Up" a few months ago in Portugal and I remember very well how excited he was when he arrived back home with his mother. Both were happy and anxiously told me passages and jokes from the movie. Also, the usual Pixar short movie had to be very funny, dealing with a cloud and his stork.
That was during the summer. Now, autumn, we went together to the cinema and I understood their excitement. This movie is fabulous; it is endearing, touching, exciting at moments and funny as hell!!! We had a great time and I had to ask him several times not to spoil my experience, as he was anxiously shouting out "Oh, this is going to be funny" and "Watch what he's going to do dad!".

"Ratatouille" was OK and "Wall-e" was a bit better, but "Up" is the rise back to the top. Dreamworks and others can better quit with animated movies; Pixar rules!

My son's rating: 5 out of 5 cookies

My rating: 8 out of 10
