Back in the Netherlands! And it's good to be back... in a way :)
Exactly 350 days ago I wrote here on my blog that I started watching the TV-show “Jericho“. I'm pretty embarrassed to write it, but today I saw the final episode of season 1. It took me almost a year to see this show!!! Unbelievable!
The reason for it is pretty simple: even though the first three (or somewhat) episodes attracted me, the show took a path that I found very hard to return to. It just didn't attract me in a way to view episode after episode and to complete it in a week. And with all the other movies and TV-shows coming out last year, I didn't give Jericho a priority...
But as soon as the story really kicks in after several episodes, I found myself playing all episodes one after the other! It's a good story and even though the feedback about Jake in the first post is somewhat true, it just fits the story. It's a very good bite against the Bush- and USA-policy and could be seen as a criticism/ warning to that way of life.
I loved the story, the characters and even though the start was a bit rocky the show on a whole made it out well. Tonight I'll start watching season 2 and I promise not to return on it after a year :)
