This movie is heavy. And strong, really strong. If falls down on you like that last glass of beer that you shouldn't have taken in. Boy A is a drama like a drama should be. It enrolls out slowly, introducing ex-con Jack, which is being set free from prison after spending there a large part of his youth. He gets a second change in society and this actor is really good. You feel what he's feeling; all the new things which are coming to him. Friendship, girlfriend, secrecy about his past... He's like the kid he was when he went to jail. Through little flashbacks which are put in here and there, we get to know what exactly happened in Jack's past. And it ain't good. What happens next can be guessed, but I will not go into it as I don't want to spoil you this excellent piece of cinema. Go see it in a theater while you can or else rent it on a dark rainy night. Highly recommended!
