Great news! Readers of British New Wave SF and Dr. Who fans are destined to intersect: The Guardian reports that Michael Moorcock accepted a commission from the BBC to write a new Dr. Who novel, to be available next Christmas.
I am not surprised by Moorcock’s remarks that “… a lot of my ideas crept into the stories and so in many ways I'll be writing a story which already echoes my own work." I always subconsciously new the Dr. carried the spark of Jerry Cornelius/Jherek Carnelian. Now how would that have happened?
