Reading Report: A Detective in Solaria

Finally finished Isaac Asimov’s legendary The Naked Sun yesterday.  Asimov truly was a great humanist.  But you know, having grown up with Data, it really bugged me that Bailey would act so rude towards R. Daneel Olivaw.  Bailey is a bit of a Columbo-type of detective – he goes around annoying and irritating everybody until the perpetrator breaks down and admits his crimes in exasperation.  I did like the metaphor of the naked sun for the need to break out of artificial and self-imposed barriers though.
