Once again I managed to get the full load of .NET 4 certifications. I passed on all 6 exams, which I took in the BETA program. It makes me wonder how many .NET 4 certified people there are in my country, The Netherlands, but also how many there are all over the world. In the past there used to be a page within the Microsoft Learning site, which showed the numbers of certified people worldwide. But this page can no longer be found. At least I tried to track it down, but with no luck so far.

Now I have these certificates, I think it is ‘payback time’. I’ve tinkered with the idea to do a series of posts on the Code Contracts that can be found in the new .NET framework. And possibly followed by a series on Rx, Reactive Extensions for .NET. Both technologies have gotten me really excited about .NET 4 and the many things that are hopefully still to come from MSFT. And given the recent announcement of IIS Express by Scott Guthrie, that will most likely be no problem for many years to come.

The series on Code Contracts will probably have a setup where each post will have details on a specific member of the System.Diagnostics.Contracts.Contract class. Also the attributes in the System.Diagnostics.Contracts namespace will probably have a post of their own. And starting the series with a more general post and concluding with a final wrap-up. So, many things to do in the coming months.

That’s it for now
