This campaign is from &lt;a href="http://www.ctdia.com.br/" target="_blank"&gt;CT Dia&lt;/a&gt;, an organisation that helps drug addicts building a new life.&lt;br /&gt;
In the Netherlands we're not used to campaigns that are so confrontating. Is it effective? I don't know.&lt;br /&gt;

Ik ben nu een paar maanden met dit weblog bezig en surf me suf om verrassende campagnes te vinden. Die zijn er genoeg, meer zelfs dan ik bij de start verwacht had. Maar wat me wel opvalt dat er zo weinig goed materiaal te vinden is uit de Verenigde Staten. Ik heb het er al met wat andere mensen over gehad maar ben er nog niet achter waar dat aan ligt. Of ik zoek verkeerd.&lt;br /&gt;
Ik vond vandaag &lt;a href="http://www.abovetheinfluence.com" target="_blank"&gt;Above the influence&lt;/a&gt;, een campagne van de &lt;a href="http://www.mediacampaign.org" target="_blank"&gt;National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign&lt;/a&gt;. En voor het eerst een campagne die me verrast. Krachtig, helder en een duidelijk thema. &lt;br /&gt;
Volgens de makers willen zij niet bepalen hoe je moet leven maar wil laten zien hoe beïnvloedbaar je kunt zijn in de tienertijd. 'Ik kan wel een jointje roken want ik raak toch niet verslaafd'. De campagne heeft het niet alleen over cannabis maar ook over andere drugs. In Nederland denken wij wel wat anders over cannabis maar met het thema &lt;a href="http://www.abovetheinfluence.com" target="_blank"&gt;Above the influence&lt;/a&gt; hebben de makers een sterk punt.&lt;br /&gt;
Opvallend is de cross-media aanpak: advertenties, website, wallpapers, tv-commercials, interactie dmv je mobiel, games. En dit allemaal in een mooie vormgeving.&lt;br /&gt;
Ben blij dat ik nog niets gerookt had vandaag :-)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Over de campagne (gemaakt in opdracht van &lt;a href="http://www.nigz.nl" target="_blank"&gt;NIGZ&lt;/a&gt;) &lt;a href="http://www.dekaterkomtlater.nl/" target="_blank"&gt;De kater komt later&lt;/a&gt; is al veel gezegd. Ik hou het kort.&lt;br /&gt;
Het is geen anti alcohol campagne. Belangrijkste doel is jongeren informeren over de effecten van alcoholgebruik. En ze stimuleren om verantwoord om te gaan met drank.&lt;br /&gt;
Dat is positief, geen moralistisch vingertje maar gewoon tips.&lt;br /&gt;
Het beeld met de jongen op de wasmand begrijp ik niet, hij lijkt gelukkig. &lt;br /&gt;
Dat drank overmoedig maakt &lt;a href="http://retecool.com/comments.php?id=12563_0_1_0_C" target="_blank"&gt;bewijst dit&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;
De campagne omvat Print, radio en tv-spots, folders en een website waar ook dit &lt;a href="http://213.222.21.201/dekaterkomtlater/hipe/uploads/030721094624/postbus51spotje.wmv" target="_blank"&gt;filmpje&lt;/a&gt; te zien is.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Drugsbestrijding ziet er in Zuid-Amerika anders uit dan bij ons. Bij ons ligt in campagnes de nadruk op het gebruik.&lt;br /&gt;
In de uiting van het Braziliaans &lt;a href="http://www.contradrogas.org.br/" target="_blank"&gt;Associação Parceria Contra Drogas&lt;/a&gt; (APCD) gaat het vooral om de handel (2e en 3e afbeelding). Handelen in en gebruik van drugs had het geweld en de maffia in stand.&lt;br /&gt;
