Drie advertenties van &lt;a href="http://www.anj.org.br/" target="_blank"&gt;Associação Nacional de Jornais&lt;/a&gt;, de Braziliaanse vereniging van dagbladuitgevers. Eén ervan, de advertentie met de nazi-vlaggen, is op zijn zachts gezegd opmerkelijk.&lt;br /&gt;
De advertenties zijn geplaatst naar aanleiding van een voor mij nauwelijks terug te vinden conflict. Het heeft iets te maken met een spionagezaak waarbij een Braziliaans telecombedrijf en de regering betrokken waren. En waarbij de pers die er probeerde over te berichten in de problemen kwam. &lt;br /&gt;
Ik waag me niet aan details, daar heb ik te weinig informatie voor. Als jij weet waarover het precies gaat vertel het ons dan in de &lt;a href="http://blogger.xs4all.nl/marcg/archive/2006/01/15/74309.aspx#FeedBack"&gt;comments&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;
Hoogstwaarschijnlijk gaat het over &lt;a href="http://www.rsf.org/article.php3?id_article=15907" target="_blank"&gt;deze zaak&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;
In West-Europa zou zo'n beeld bij zo'n conflict nooit gebruikt worden. Dat zou voor flink wat problemen zorgen. Bijna iedere vergelijking met Hitler-Duitsland is bij ons uit den boze.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Three ads from &lt;a href="http://www.anj.org.br/" target="_blank"&gt;Associação Nacional de Jornais&lt;/a&gt;, the Brazilian association of newspaper publishers. One of them, with the Naziflags, is highly remarkable. For us in Western-Europe it's not done to use such an image.&lt;br /&gt;
The ad has something to do with a spycase but thats all I know.&lt;br /&gt;

In de laatste week van november wordt er op vele plaatsen in de wereld actie gevoerd omder de noemer &lt;a href="http://adbusters.org/metas/eco/bnd/" target="_blank"&gt;'Buy Nothing Day'&lt;/a&gt;. Doel is om te laten zien dat we in een wereld leven waar het alleen nog gaat om consumptie.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Citaat: " De rijkdom in de wereld is ongelijk verdeeld. Twintig procent van de wereldbevolking neemt 86 procent van de wereld-consumptie voor zijn rekening. De overgrote meerderheid van de mensheid moet daarom genoegen nemen met de resterende veertien procent. Dat leidt tot honger en armoede in grote delen van de wereld. We zullen de rijkdommen van de Aarde eerlijker moeten verdelen tussen alle wereldburgers."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Ik kan me daar wel in vinden. Ook ik maak me vaak schuldig aan kopen voor de heb. Goed om daar eens bij stil te staan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

De actie wordt in veel landen gevoerd en het is aardig om de verschillende campagnes te zien. Zou daar een volksaard uit spreken, wat dat ook mogen zijn?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Het Japanse en het Franse affiche zijn duidelijk. De harde rechthoekige japanse vormen en het frivole franse gevoel.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

De versie uit de V.S. heeft een sfeer van de westcoast uit de jaren '70, hippiecultuur. De kassabon uit Engeland vind ik origineel, typisch engels design waarin even verder gedacht wordt over waar het nu om gaat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Het Duitse affiche heeft het meteen over milieuaspecten, weer duidelijk herkenbaar duits. De Finse variant (zie bovenaan) is wat onpersoonlijk maar lief. Wel netjes uitgevoerd, daar ontbreekt het nog wel eens aan als het gaat om actievoeren.&lt;br /&gt;
De lulligste komt echter uit Nederland. Dit kan je toch niet serieus nemen. Wat is dit? Gejat uit een schoolmelk-campagne?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
