African branch of Linux Chix has always interesting news on their list. This time it is about Freedom Toaster: "The Freedom Toaster is a conveniently located, self-contained ‘Bring 'n Burn' facility, where users bring their own blank discs and make copies of the open source software they require." The project is financed by the Shuttleworth Foundation, also known for its work with Ubuntu. Check out the
