It has been a while. I got a new computer and the combination Safari and .text (the blogger software) didn´t work anymore. Finally I had some time to think it through. I am now using Firefox and I have no problems. You probably consider me now as one of those unreliable wannabe bloggers who has huge time gaps between her postings. Well, I don´t care. I apply my own time-space compression trick here and continue as if nothing has happened.

But things have been happening. I have participated in a week-long course with John Law and Vicky Singleton on STS. I wrote the obligatory essay under the title On databases and the production of non-existence. I am now rewriting and re-working that text into a chapter for a book on ethics and information technology.

I have been in Amsterdam, at Incommunicado 05 and gave a presentation (see under Articles/Cognitive justice). I have also been in Canada, working on the house, visiting family, and commenting on local politics (see under Articles/This is our land - back off!).
