It's that time again; we are officially without a government -again.
Last night, Balkenende IV effectively ceased to exist after Labour threw in the towel and resigned, finally leaving the train wreck that this cabinet has been for a while now, and I applaud them for having a spine.
So we have to go and vote again soon; probably in May, and while I can't say I'm sad to see this cabinet go, I don't really know what would be a good alternative, because it's obvious we'll see most of them back after the elections.
It would be a shame if there is going to be a Balkenende V: he failed to see the completion of even one term, as we've had to have premature elections for the past four cabinets already.
We'll see.
Cheers, K.
