I managed to survive another one -without much bother, I must add, even at the office.

Ah, so that's what that was all about last Monday.
Got a few nice cards, by the way; one from my aunt & uncle, one from my grandfather, one from my mom and one from my employer.
That last one will be designated as the nicest of this year in terms of effort; inside was a bit of Japanese text congratulating me.
At least, that's what the original text must have been, just before they pulled it through Google Translate, as the Japanese is mostly rubbish, or oddly translated at best, but it's very considerate of them.
