After shooting pics at Dotombori, we went for food and booze at the aformentioned izakaya.
It was good, and only cost me about 1000 yen per hour.

That's a good line and great value for money :D
While personally I won't drink more than one or two glasses of spirits, I might enjoy watching you get drunk :p

Well, I'm too much of a control freak to get -really- drunk, but a good buzz now and then does not hurt.
We found an izakaya with very cheap, but good food, and a bottle of their house brand shouchu only sets you back about 7 euro at current rates.
It's a soft spirit, and not as strong as you might think on hearing the word shouchu. I'll try to bring a bottle. :)
The izakaya itself is called Wara Wara, and it's within spitting distance of the apartment, just a few meters from exit 3 of Taniyon station.

Wasn't it exit 4 of Taniyon station?
Anyway, the shouchu was not bad at all.
Willem and me both had a bottle on thursday or friday and we were able to walk back to the apartment in a straight line.

Yep, that's the one. I'm not that good at binge drinking, so I'm a cheap date. ;)
