Tokyo in six Gigapixel

One of my colleagues stumbled upon this web site with a six gigapixel picture of Tokyo. The Flash-component allows you to zoom in on an incredible level, so that you are also able to see that one girl providing herself with an all-over tan on the roof of one of the buildings...

OK, so I lied. ^^;;

I did some research, and deduced that you're looking at Roppongi in the Minato ward (Minato-ku), and from the looks of it, the main picture was shot from ANA Hotel Tokyo, right here.
Down the road, you see Mori Tower and it's surroundings, together also known as Roppongi Hills; which happens to be one of Japan's most expensive places to live.
Another Mori-project involves Omotesando Hills, which happens to be one of the most expensive streets to shop in Japan.

You're looking towards the west, in the direction of Fuji-san.

I think I'll pay the Mori Tower a visit in August; it looks like a great subject for a picture or two.

Cheers, K.

I'd like to visit Mori Tower as well, but for the excellent art museum that's inside. It comes highly recommended.
