Yesterday, we (me and a friend) went to the zoo in Emmen (in Dutch), to see the zoo again (haven't been there in at least eight years) and snap some pictures while we're at it.
Photographing live animals can be somewhat of a challenge, and I wanted to practice a little more with my 70-200. I also got to try a 24-105 f/4 L IS USM, to see whether it would be a nice addition to my set.
It is a great lens to have for parties and has a great range, but I'm not in a hurry just yet.

Since the weather was good, we had much fun and were able to see lots of animals and had a good look at them.
Here are a few pictures:

Perhaps I'll post more later on.

Cheers, K.

So, I finally got around to see The Dark Knight, after just about everyone around me all but put a gun to my head to go and see it.

Now that I've seen it, I've got only a couple of things to say about this flick. First off: this Joker was good, subtle and funny, but he was also predictable.
The rest of the movie was a typical DC-movie and therefore sucked.

Seriously, I could not find anything that kept my attention and at one point, I even fell asleep, despite the sucky chairs the theatre has.
Can we leave the Batman franchise at rest now?
