An easy day; because of the advert that
CD Japan got in our
Anime 2008 convention manga, we decided it would be nice to visit them and offer a few of the manga to them.
Niels e-mailed them and they agreed, and thus we headed out towards Ningyocho. After some looking around (the Japanese address system is somewhat awkward when it comes to the exact location, even the Japanese are having a field day sometimes), we arrived at NeoWing, CD Japan's main branch.
There were four of us, therefore four of the NeoWing staff attended the meeting.
After the exchange of business cards, we talked about our festival, their business, our stay here in Japan and some plans for the future.
Very nice people, and it's always nice to have a face with the names you know through e-mail.
Afterwards, Matijs and I went to Omotesando to get ourselves some yukata (summer kimono, can be used at festivals, but also inside the house), and we intended to head over to Ito that evening to attend the Fireworks Festival.
Unfortunately, Niels text'd us that there was nothing going on in Ito, and that the fireworks would be lit on August 10! We decided to forego that festival and make it an early night, since we are going to move house to Osaka on August 9.
Cheers, K.
