Slow day; tickets, science and shopping

Well, as said, the a-nation tickets arrived this morning, and after a quick stop at a convenience store, Matijs and I went to Ueno for a visit at the National Science Museum in Ueno-koen [ko-en].
While not as interesting as Miraikan, it still is a museum which is quite up to speed with current events, sciences and theories. Great for children as well as adults.

Not many photo-ops at NSM, so half way, I decided to stuff the camera bag in a locker at the museum for the afternoon. The rather shitty weather also tempered my enthusiasm on shooting pictures somewhat.

Afterwards, we decided to hit Akihabara for some sight-seeing, a tonkatsu dinner and maybe a little shopping. Went to Tower Records to try and order a certain DVD, but alas; no stock left. -_- Trouble is, last night, their web site showed some stock left, so they can go very fast.

I picked up some second-hand singles at Liberty and a second-hand DS game at Sofmap, while browsing around.
Matijs picked up something for Anime 2009 and a small backpack, which can be had for as little as €6.

Not sure what we'll do tomorrow; thunderstorms are all over the forecast for Tokyo. Tomorrow is also the start of Tanabata in Sendai, so perhaps we'll head that way.

Cheers, K.
