In April 2007, I wrote about the death of a five year old boy due to a lung disease.
Yesterday, I learned that his relative I mentioned and who already has had a lung transplant, has no chance of getting a new transplant due to a lymphoma.

Now, he knows that his life expectancy isn't very high to begin with, but there is a difference in knowing that and trying to get something out of life while you still can, and being told that the set of lungs you currently have will be your last set ever, and that they won't last as long as a regular set to begin with.
It's rather hard to imagine and it puts things in perspective. I wish him all the best, for as long as medically possible.
