The battle has ended, I think. What battle? The HD-DVD versus Blu-ray battle.
For some time, it was kind of hard to see which one would take the cake, but with Toshiba
apparently kicking HD-DVD's bucket after a number of other supporters did the same, it seems only a matter of time before HD-DVD is all but dead and buried.
Since I chose Blu-ray a while ago, that makes me quite happy, the debate on Minidisk, DCC and DAT still fresh in my memory (I chose for and did stick with MD -especially because I was sick of tapes- but in the end, it didn't turn out good for either of the three formats).
I'm heading off to get my camera, perhaps picking up that wide-angle in the process.
