No, not the 10.000th photo again, but a whole new camera this time!
I've been wanting a dSLR (digital Single Lens Reflex) camera for a while, but this being a very expensive hobby to start with and me lacking the dosh to get it started, it just wasn't going to happen.
But with my grandmother donating some money, I made the transition from compact to dSLR a few weeks ago.
My new Canon EOS 40DI've spent some of my free moments since then trying to get to know the camera, and I'm finally getting the hang of it.
I also bought a couple of lenses, but it seems that I have to return to the shop on Monday to see what's wrong with the wide angle, since I can't seem to get a decent picture out of it.
Other than that, I'm very happy with my new bit of kit, and I'm going to try and get the most out of it.
Ah yes, and then there are the pictures of the trip earlier this year; I'm going to try and sort them out on Monday.
Cheers, K.
