Wake-up calls

This morning, I had to ask Thomas something about our upcoming trip to Japan. It was like 10:30 in the morning, so I figured I could call him safely without waking him up.

Yappari ne...

Anyway, I opened the call with "At the following tone, it will be nine and a half days until you leave for Japan. ... Beep!"
Apparently, he is a little less nervous compared to last week, because he didn't really freak out that much. Perhaps the lack of caffeine...

Oh no, don't worry: I'm still nervous!

I just gave myself a nauseous scare, by realising I'm going to Japan in a week (without expecting the realisation)... Gawd, I was startled... :)
