Silly bans

Once in a while, you come across something that's banned.
Some bans are just; the ban on kiddie pr0n, for instance. Or the ban on heroin, or coke; all fine and dandy.

Now for a silly one; Brussels (where the European Parliament resides) feels the need to ban bomb recipes from the 'net, to stall terrorists from making them.

One: I'm very sure (potential) terrorists already have ample information on how to build something nasty; they don't need the web to tell them.
Two: It's useless to ban something from the Internet; the minute you take something down, ten other sites will rise to provide the banned info. It's been done before, and I'm quite sure it will be done again.

Cheers, K.
