DareDevil tells the story of Matt Murdock; the son of a former boxing champion who gets doused with a hazardous chemical. He loses his eyesight, but gets some sort of a radar-sense in return. When his father gets killed after refusing to throw a fight when he had to, Matt decides to train himself and seek justice.
Years later, he has become a lawyer by day, DareDevil by night, defending only those who are innocent.
When the cases he sees in court turn out to have a common source, he sets out to do something about it.
While DareDevil has a mediocre plot at best (standard American comic book hero fare), there is one thing that makes it worth the purchase: the sound effects.
It's a joy to watch this movie in a room with a decent sound system, as the effects used provide the movie with the extra dimension which makes it a decent movie, instead of a mediocre one.
I'm not sure whether I'm keeping this one, though.
Cheers, K.
