Right, that was fun.
I decided to catch an early train, instead of mucking about in the city after work, so I hopped on the first one available. Turns out that the railroad crossings were malfunctioning, and a freight train went haywire, so our train had to stop as well, forcing us to wait.
And wouldn't you know it; I forgot to recharge both my LifeDrive and my DSlite, so their batteries died within 15 minutes. :(
I got into a conversation with a man named Alan, an Englishman on his way to the north of the country, who understandably couldn't understand what the conductor was saying over the train's PA system. Eventually, I got home about 90 minutes later than planned, which entitles me to a full refund of my train ticket. And I got to meet Alan, which I will probably never see again, but our talk was fun.
However, I'd rather be home on time. ;)
