Anime: I, My, Me - Strawberry Eggs

Say, you're a male gym teacher, fresh from University and eager to get to work and make a living, but the only school in the region is a school with an all-female staff; no men allowed. To make matters worse; your savings are spent and your landlady wants her rent upfront.
What would you do?

Well, in I, My, Me - Strawberry Eggs, Hibiki Amawa finds himself in exactly such a predicament. When he visits the school to apply for a job, the principal kicks him out, stating that men can't teach like women do, as men have no love.

So, with the help of his landlady, he turns himself into a woman, complete with a choker to alter his voice, in a quest for a job and to prove the sourpuss principal wrong.

Now, Amawa-sensei must not only make sure nobody finds out about his secret, but also fend off the affections of his students.

It's a fun series, 13 episodes long, and while not going too deep, quite entertaining.
Many say it's forgettable as well, and while I agree to a certain extent, it's not always time to save the world, topple Tokyo Tower, see what two or more girls can fight over or kill off the monster of the day. IMMSE is just focussed on a teacher with a mission and despite his getup, no pervert at all (some of the tenants of the building he lives in are, though). I would have liked a different ending, though; while I can live with the current ending, it could have ended differently.

Cheers, K.
