So, how would you punish a school teacher for allegedly intentionally (or not) showing pornography to school kids?
A couple of weeks in jail? A slap on the wrist? A hefty fine?
How about up to fourty years...Whether she did it intentionally or not (I can't be the judge of that, since I wasn't there at that moment, but I can't see why a sensible person would do that intentionally in a country like the USA), facing a jail sentence of up to fourty years for something like this is outrageous.
For those of you who think the jury's train of thought was correct; in this day and age, you don't have to click anymore.
Just visiting a site like Imageshack is enough; where endless popup advertisements, helped by the wonderful techniques of Javascript, unpatched computers and leaky browsers and operating systems, infect your system like there's no tomorrow. Take this along with the majority of Windows users who go into a blind panic when they get a small error-message, and you get yourself something like this.
I hope the judge has some sense in his/her brain.
Cheers, K.
