A week of shorts, part one: Heavy weather

Keeping it short, this week; I gather I will be rather busy, but I don't really want to let this be quiet for a week.
So, to start with... the weather.

While we are experiencing one of the mildest winters ever, there is apparently a town in Switzerland called Versoix with an average temperature of 9°C throughout the year, which sometimes experiences some nasty weather, resulting in this. (site may be down; I gather I'm not the only one who is linking to these pictures)

Ouch.

So, next time I'm scuba driving* (I did twice in the past few days; Saturday and this morning), I try to keep in mind that it can be a lot worse. ;)

Cheers, K.

* Scuba driving? Well, yes. Sometimes, the weather here is so bad, you get a massive torrent of rain over your head, resulting in limited vision, windscreen wipers working overtime and even some aquaplaning.
