Narrow roads can be dangerous

Boring post, but I have to get it out of my system.
Nearly lost my mirror on the left side of the car this morning; when driving to work, I pass three towns and villages after leaving the motorway, and one of those villages has a narrow road leading towards it. The road is wide enough to let two cars pass each other from the opposite direction, and even buses fit, when they stay snugly on the right. The bus I passed this morning, however, didn't and was speeding a little as well. This shouldn't be a problem if the road had a verge on my side, but it doesn't. Well, it has one, in fact, but it's full of trees. O_o

The fact that I'm writing this, shows that it did fit, but just barely.

So, imagine two vehicles hurtling towards each other at 60km/h on a road that's barely capable of having them side by side, and you feel somewhat how I felt at the time. Unfortunately, I didn't see his license plate well enough, so I can't point in any direction.
Oh well, I got off unscathed, and that's what counts.

Cheers, K.
