Online game retailer Lik-Sang announced yesterday that they are going to close their shop, apparently due to the lawsuits Sony made against them. According to the press release, Sony's reason for this are allegations of Lik-Sang shipping non-EU conformed power supplies and such, which is bull.
It's a pity that this shop has to go because of this stunt Sony pulled; on the other hand, Lik-Sang was very much violating their own Terms of Service when they mentioned the "who's who in the gaming business" by name as being a Lik-Sang customer.

Many people are enraged about this, and swear on their pet's grave that they will never buy a Sony product again.
Any idea how hard that is to accomplish, people?

As for me; I usually determine my choice of whatever hardware I'll need by looking at standards, price, durability and usefulness, then I'll have a look at the brand. My personal opinion about Sony: some of their people need to get their head examined and their facts together.

Cheers, K.

Oh, I'll be going to the Abunai convention in Enschede this weekend; it's going to be fun.

Here's one for you; ever noticed that your hands give off an irony smell when you handle coins? Many regard that as the money's scent rubbing off on your skin. But scientists found out that it's actually you who generates the smell.
Now, whether this is a useful piece of research or not, it's fun to know.
