New kitchen appliance

Today, I got a rice cooker from my mum; brilliant things as you don't need to worry over your rice again but just put it in and let the cooker do its job while you attend to other things. :)



I'm having some friends over tonight, so I'm going to put it to use.

A rice cooker... Hmm... Good on you! I guess you eat a lot more rice than I do, especially the glutinous kind.

We usually stick to 'zilvervlies', which doesn't require that much attention. And the glutinous kind always comes along nicely in the microwave (don't kill me)...
