This week is the last week I am at my current job, as sysadm of a well know welfare orginsation.
Their own admin should be back from his holiday now, but hasn't appeared yet, its past 9 already, and he is usually here at 8! Now if this network where my baby, and I had gone on holiday to leave it in the hands of some third-party admin, I would make sure I was there as soon as possible the first morning I was back! Oh well.

Last night my friend Rava dropped by, and brought along Kill Bill 1 & 2. Unfortunatly the second film turned out to be an inferior rip, as the second half turned out not to be sexy Uma in her yellow leather, but the second half of a recent sci-fi/comic film who's name I cant remember.

While I couln't find that movie on IMDB fast enough,  I did however notice that M. Night Shyamalan's latest movie, The Village: (Trailer: Official Site), is about to be released!

So far I have seen 3 movies by this man, and the Sixth Sense, The (1999), Unbreakable (2000)  and Signs (2002) where all masterpieces as far as i am concerned.  I saw Signs when it was released, but in my good fortune managed to see it at such an odd time, that there was no one else in the theater. Well, there we some girls who left after realising they where at the wrong movie. Have you seen Signs? Does this strike you as the sort of movie you would want to see by yourself, ... alone...  in a dark theater. Needless to say I was scared shitless.

Now Signs is scary enough, as per usual Shyamalan captures tention and dramatic suspence like no other director I have seen, and, reading though the plotline of 'The Village', I can only assume that he has again hit that high mark when it comes to his edge-of-your-seat writing, reminds me a lot of Steven King's work, by the way, of which I have read too little.

Why do movies have to released so much later over here, I really cant wait.

Ah Shyamalan makes such good movies. I must see The Village as well! Signs was great. Rogier and I watched it together in the US when he visited. We even got my roommate (an anti alien movie watcher) to go and she sorta liked it *faints* That is saying a lot of Shyamalan's abilities.
