“Cashhern“
Oh boy.. Incredibly over the top, no holds barred live action anime, or something like that. Fantastic visuals, CGI backgrounds, animation and live action, leaving movies like Sky Captain far behind. But even for the genre, this story gets in a bit of a mess coz the whole plot was something that kinda passed me by. Maybe it's the cultural devide, but the audience was laughing at scenes where no humor was shown. On the other hand, when the first unbelievable action scene was finished, the crowd went wild and started to applaud. I'm guessing that most fans will've got what they wanted out of the movie. For me it was an slightly annoying passtime.
So? My conclusion: fantastic visuals, crap story and characters.
