That was quite an amusing race I would say with lots of overtaking. My personal favorite, Toni Elias rode great. His overtaking manoevre on Rossi was not too rude I think, what do you guys think?

Furthermore, Chris Vermeulen also rode great, although we didn't get to see it. He rode the fastest lap of the race on the penultimate lap and set lap times similar to Stoner during the race whilst overtaking many riders. He really could have fought for victory I think.

Elias manoeuvre was very tough, but correct, imho.
Rossi seems to dislike intensively when someone does one on him, but he's been doing a few 'dubious' moves himself...

And yes, at this hour, one doesn't see what could beat Stoner, but it's a loooooong season.

Stoner is not invincible, nor infallible (emphasis on the fall). 'Stones won the day, but another track and the right Michelins and the results could, dare I say would have been quite different. However, Hayden first on the miche's showed some of his championship mettle today. A great result, considering...

If you're interested, I now have my race report up. I address some of the points you've made here in it, but I have a couple of things to add:

The new tire rules really hurt Michelin. They're not used to having to have tires ready on Thursday.

Those Ducatis are fast. And we have 3 more fast tracks in the next 4 races. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Great race though...
