Budapest, day two (and a half)

I couldn't believe my luck when I saw on the web site of the new (for me) culture-party-ship A38 that there is a concert of Besh.O.Drom TOMORROW! (that is now already yesterday... go figure ;-)

I love this city!! The fact that I can always find something like that - a concert of one of my favorite bands; the fact, even, that they would be from here in the first place; and I even know their leader personally (hmm.. I did, in 2001; I don't think he remembers me, yet-another-fan).

And even more- I love that I would have all these old friends here, with who I share loads of memories, of our past adventures, of other friends... it's so nice that we cna just pick it up, our friendship, altho we didn't see each other for 3-5-7 years... Just great! Makes me feel young again ;-)

I ate with Akos in the fancy place called Menza, on Liszt ter; I had gomboska, or something like that: I think it's Czeck dish, that I ate ages ago in Panonia utca, and could not find it ever again - neither restaurant nor the dish... I had Tokai Aszu with the meal......mmmmmmmMMMmmmmm :) Later I wanted a desert in "cukraczda", but we couldn't find my favorite one in Kiraly utca, and then it was time to go to the boat (where the concert was).

The boat itself is sort of an attraction -- from Ukraine; three floors; and with an amazing program - on 19th they had Inkognito; on 30th will have Da-Phaz, and in the meantime all kinds of other great bands...

(the concert itself is described in another category, "Music")
