A small and ridiculous story about Jimmy Woo.
A Saturday evening me and 2 friends (a girl and a man), we decided to go to Jimmy Woo.
Early enough not to be submitted to the ridiculous personal selection that they do at the
door (I feel being back of 50 years when I see that).
We finally come in, a very nice lady let us in.
When inside, I decide to pay for the 3 of us. So I give them 30 Euros. Right after it,
while I put the change back in my pocket, the friend of mine get body searched…
Body searched??? Yes… MMmmm.. Ok… does not matter. Maybe is better… I can
be sure no weapons comes in the disco!
Ooooo bad thinking.
They were not really looking for weapon!
Suddenly I hear a discussion… can't really hear but I understand there is a
disagreement!
2 minutes later this friend turns around and tells me:"Get your money back, we go out!!"
I did not ask too many question at that time, I simply did one step back (please remember
I said ONE step back) and turn to the lady at the cash and asked her to have my money back
since we are not going in.
The big gorillas (sorry, I mean bunzers) come around me and tell me 'nicely' that I will
not get my money back.
So I ask why. I let them know that for what ever reason, me and the other 2 cannot or do
not want to go in and since I paid for all, I want my 30 Euro back.
A guy with a typical 'careless' face said:" your friend had drugs on him, so he cannot
come in. If you want, you can come in after being search but you will not get your money
back. Sorry you pay for all of the 3…"
I have also been 'nicely' escorted to the exit!
WAIT A SECOND, do we have a law in the Netherlands?
Doe Jimmy is above the Law????
I could do quite a mess. I could have the police coming.
The only rights they had is not to let in this friend and maybe taking his money. But I
know they had NO rights to keep my money!
I was not even in the disco!
ATTENTION:
what this friend told me is that the 'funny man' not only asked him to leave
and did not give me my money.
He also kept the drug!!
WOW, can you imagine! Party time for them.
I wonder if I would call the police and mention that they have drugs in the house!
Hey, I don't have any and not use any (well… almost) but certainly I would have had
no problem since I had nothing to do with that case!
But the man with the drug in the pocket… That would have been fun!
I just wanted you all to know that I am starting to think that the Freedom of the
Netherlands is slowly going away and some people is taking big time advantage!
